Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to develop proposals for engineering-to-order turbomachinery based on customer specifications and international standards. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure compliant, timely proposals and support sales activities.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/chemical engineering background, 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with API/ASME/IEC standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar software is preferred.
5+ years’ experience.
Specific oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with departments to ensure proposals submitted meet requirements for delivery, documentation, testing and technical requirements.
Work with sales personnel to ensure customers are provided required information.
Communicate with customers to answer technical questions and respond to bid clarifications.
Ensure on-time submission of proposals.
Provide support for marketing activities.
International and domestic travel to support customer meetings as required.
Preparation of order book for orders received
