Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Global Trials Optimization Specialist / Project Manager I to drive feasibility, enrollment strategy, and in-life optimization for global clinical studies. You will partner with trial teams, country stakeholders, vendors and analytics to convert data into actionable plans.

The role focuses on planning, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to improve study outcomes across General Medicine, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease and Vaccine programs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clinical trials, feasibility assessments, recruitment planning, enrollment strategy, or related clinical operations.
• Strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and apply data for decision-making.
• Experience managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional reviews.
• Ability to collaborate with study teams, vendors, legal, analytics, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and strategic plans.
• Strong organization and attention to detail in fast-paced trials.

Responsibilities

• Program Feasibility and Trial Optimization: Gather data, benchmarks and modeling inputs for feasibility and optimization.
• Plan timelines for validation, deliverable development, stakeholder alignment and country validation requests.
• Support validation and Clinical Trials Allocation Committee activities with scenario planning and modeling updates.
• Author Global Trials Optimization Reports and maintain updates throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Lead recruitment and retention planning during feasibility and prepare program-level budget estimates.
• Submit vendor requests and prepare recruitment and retention plans; ensure materials are implemented.
• Oversee enrollment material development and tactic execution; coordinate system updates as needed.
• In-Life Trial Management: Identify enrollment challenges, assess risks, and mitigate where possible.
• Monitor enrollment performance and prepare standard reporting; analyze trends for improvements.
• Coordinate enhanced enrollment activities including rescue and outreach as needed.
