Job summary
Lilly is seeking a Senior Director, Trial Management within the Development Operations leadership team in the United States. The role drives strategic and operational leadership for trial management across Verve’s early development programs, harmonizing processes with Lilly and building an integrated operating model to enable speed and quality.
The position requires leading leaders, global trial oversight, and strong GCP/ICH knowledge to ensure timelines, budgets, and study goals are met.
Qualifications
- Significant clinical operations or trial management experience within a sponsor organization.
- Demonstrated success leading leaders and building high-performing teams in a matrixed clinical development environment.
- Deep understanding of GCP, ICH, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop trial management leaders, setting clear expectations for performance and collaboration.
- Standardize and improve trial management best practices, tools, and operating rhythms.
- Drive harmonization of trial management processes across Verve and Lilly to support a scalable operating model.
- Represent the trial management function in leadership forums and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee CRO and vendor strategy, ensuring performance and accountability.
- Monitor operational metrics and use data-driven insights for planning and execution.
