Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate in Treasury to support the development, implementation, and improvement of Global Recovery and Resolution Financial Models. You will collaborate across Finance and Firm-wide teams to ensure robust, compliant capital planning and liquidity management.

Responsibilities include delivering projects, adhering to risk standards, and driving enhancements in regulatory submissions and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is beneficial.
• Experience with complex financial models and data management in IT environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance colleagues and cross-functional teams across the Firm.
• Deliver individual and team projects with knowledge of Finance tools and products.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
• Identify and drive additional use cases for the models in business-as-usual settings.
• Evaluate impacts of new products on resiliency and resolvability; propose mitigations.
• Interface between subject matter experts and governance bodies/external regulators.
• Present to governance committees and engage with second/third lines of defense.
• Manage ad hoc requests from senior management to aid decision making.
• Research data issues and perform steps to resolve them.
• Support global regulatory submissions and regulatory requests.
• Collaborate across teams to implement strategic change initiatives in response to regulatory feedback.
