Job summary

Morgan Stanley in New York, NY seeks an Associate in Treasury to support the development and enhancements of Global Recovery and Resolution Financial Models within the RRP team. You will collaborate across Finance and the Firm, deliver complex analyses, support regulatory submissions and governance reviews, and drive remediation efforts in response to feedback.

Required: Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting and 3+ years’ relevant experience; advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or Tableau

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
3+ years of relevant experience in treasury, finance or regulatory planning.
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Finance and Firm colleagues across the organization.
Manage individual and team deliverables and projects leveraging Finance knowledge.
Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
Act as a culture carrier and uphold Firm values.
Identify and drive additional use cases of the models in BAU operations.
Interface between SMEs and governance bodies/external regulators.
Present to governance committees and engage with second/third lines of defense.
Handle ad hoc requests from senior management and aid decision-making.
Research, analyze and resolve data issues; support regulatory submissions.
Collaborate across teams to implement strategic change initiatives and remediation efforts.
