Global Treasury – Analyst

Job Description:

Blackstone’s Global Treasury group seeks a highly skilled Analyst for its Middle Office, supporting Investment Operations, Liquidity Planning, and Portfolio Management. The Middle Office provides operational support for investment activities including forecasting, settlement, and reporting. Responsibilities include collateral management, market data maintenance, compliance, analytics, and risk reporting, working closely with senior leadership. The analyst will lead process development, manage projects, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support analysis and presentation of investment opportunities and capital allocation to senior leadership.
  2. Assist in financing initiatives for Blackstone’s balance sheet.
  3. Contribute to investment committee, liquidity, and risk analysis/reporting.
  4. Coordinate with Finance and Operations on regular reporting and ad-hoc inquiries.
  5. Oversee market data and collateral processes.
  6. Facilitate the closing process for Treasury investments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  7. Lead automation and process improvement projects across the Treasury platform.
  8. Oversee offshore support teams and standard operating procedures.
  9. Identify operational efficiencies and lead technology-driven automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline with strong academics.
  • Experience in finance, credit, or operations preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint; Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Programming skills in Python or SQL are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of fixed income, FX, derivatives, and accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, high EQ, and ability to interact confidently with professionals and management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment with attention to detail and independence.

The role's duties are not exhaustive and may change at Blackstone’s discretion.

Compensation:

Annual base salary range: $90,000 - $125,000, determined by experience and location. Additional benefits and compensation may apply.
