Job summary

Capital Group, a global investment firm, seeks a Global Travel Operations Specialist to lead its corporate travel program. You will serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, overseeing travel systems and vendor performance while using data, automation, and AI to drive efficiency and traveler satisfaction.

In this role, you’ll own booking tools, manage supplier relationships, and implement improvements that scale across a world-wide program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in corporate travel management, preferably within a global program environment.
• Strong knowledge of travel operations, policies, and supplier engagement and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Execute and drive delivery of the corporate travel program, acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external travel partners, independently managing day-to-day operations and issue resolutions.
• Own and optimize travel booking tools and platforms, ensuring configuration, functionality, policy alignment, and good user experience.
• Manage vendor performance and relationships, monitor service levels and KPIs, and work with suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Exercise independent judgment in resolving complex travel-related issues, interpreting guidelines and terms with broader implications.
• Identify and implement process improvements using AI and automation to enhance efficiency and traveler experience.
• Execute global travel initiatives, communications, and training to support program adoption and compliance.
• Analyze travel data and program performance to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support travel risk management, traveler tracking, disruption response, and duty-of-care.
• Produce dashboards and reporting to monitor performance, compliance, and sustainability.
