Job summary

AAA Travel Consultant is responsible for selling international and domestic travel packages, including cruises and land itineraries, and for sharing knowledge from personal experience. You will develop long-standing relationships with members and build referral and repeat business.

You must be available to work most Saturdays and some evenings. Training is provided through the Travel Consultant Trainee program, with opportunities for growth and leadership progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
• 2 years of retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency background preferred.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Sells international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel.
• Develops relationships with members and builds referral and repeat business.
• Cross-sell products like AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identity theft referrals.
• Travel consultant trainee program with travel for training.
• Meet production goals and participate in incentives.
