Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking an International Transportation Analyst in Dallas, TX. You will analyze transportation data, coordinate across departments, and identify cost-saving opportunities to improve efficiency.

You will work with vendors, carriers, and internal teams on system implementations, process improvements, and timely shipments. This role requires collaboration and problem-solving to optimize transportation operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects and assignments as part of the larger Transportation team.
• Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
• Responsible for facilitating and/or coordinating transportation operations.
• Coordinate across multiple internal departments and external resources to deliver shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions on various transportation-related tasks.
• Negotiate on price and other matters with vendors, carriers, and contractors.
• Assist with cost‑saving opportunities such as minimizing unnecessary costs (detention, demurrage).
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities related to new system implementations, including business requirements documentation, process mapping, testing, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and post‑implementation support.
• May be responsible for tracking customer orders upon request, assisting with customer‑related problems, and various other transportation matters as defined by the designated department.
