Job summary

CAE is seeking a Training Standards Lead to support the execution of its global training strategy and ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences across Civil training operations. The role partners with Training Centers to develop, qualify, and mentor Civil Instructors and Examiners, translating global standards into effective local execution.

Qualifications

• Hold or have held an ICAO ATPL or CPL license.
• Hold or have held FAA instructor certificate or Part-FCL certificate or 900(c) qualification.
• Minimum of three years delivering or managing instructor training in an ATO/AOC environment.
• Extensive experience training multi-pilot aircraft pilots including MCC/CRM.
• Working knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Part-FCL/ORA and/or FAA CFR Parts 61, 121, 135, 142).
• Proven ability to liaison between local instructor teams and global standards leadership.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple training centers, including remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and guidance for Instructors, Examiners, Tutors, Mentors, and Coaches.
• Coordinate audits and performance reviews to ensure instructional quality and compliance.
• Champion global training standards by translating enterprise initiatives into local actions.
• Plan and implement global standards procedures at the local level for consistent application.
• Observe pilot performance and analyze results to support global standards teams.
• Deliver instructor training sessions in virtual and in-person formats; develop courseware.
• Serve as SME to ensure alignment with global standardization policies.
