Job summary

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader US LLP’s Intellectual Property Practice seeks a Trademark and Copyright Specialist with a minimum of five years’ experience to join its Washington, D.C. office and international TACT team. The role covers U.S.

and international prosecution, portfolio management, and coordination with clients and foreign counsel. Responsibilities include filing trademark and copyright applications, maintaining dockets, and supporting TTAB and enforcement efforts.

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of trademark and copyright prosecution support experience.
• Billing experience, including electronic billing, preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines under very tight time constraints.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file trademark applications and related submissions with the USPTO.
• Prepare and file copyright applications with the US Copyright Office.
• Manage daily docket tracking for domestic and international matters.
• Provide support for TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings.
• Coordinate with foreign counsel, clients and internal teams.
• Prepare client cost estimate spreadsheets and routine correspondence.
