An Allentown, PA based employer seeks a Classification and Controls Supervisor to lead global trade compliance operations and manage SAP GTS processes at our headquarters in Allentown, PA. The role oversees a team responsible for embargo, sanctioned party, and licensing checks, and will classify materials with ECCN and HTN codes.

The ideal candidate has SAP GTS/SAP ECC/HANA expertise, deep knowledge of U.S.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP GTS and SAP ECC/HANA.
• Strong knowledge of trade compliance; U.S. export/import regulation experience.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, related field, or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise global team handling GTS/SPL blocks and HTN/ECCN classifications.
• Manage SAP GTS workflows for export/import compliance.
• Classify materials and maintain ECCN and HTN codes.
• Review and clear blocked orders; escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate on system enhancements and compliance projects.
• Submit license applications and maintain regulatory records.
