The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams on complex, cross‑border transactions for diverse industries. Ideal candidate has 3–4 years of relevant experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in international trade, sanctions, export controls, or national security.
• Experience with transactions involving trade or national security considerations.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on U.S. economic sanctions, including compliance and enforcement.
• Counsel on export controls under EAR and ITAR.
• Support CFIUS and national security reviews, including filings.
• Conduct diligence on sanctions, export control, and national security in transactions.
• Draft and review compliance policies and contractual provisions.
• Assist with internal investigations and government inquiries.
• Collaborate with colleagues on multidisciplinary matters.
