Job summary

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is seeking a Trade Manager in Chandler, AZ to oversee export/import licensing and compliance activities.

You will partner with stakeholders to prepare authorizations, review transactions, provide training, and ensure adherence to US and international regulations. The role reports to the Director of Trade Operations and requires 7+ years in international trade licensing/compliance, proficiency with OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ITAR, EAR, and other US export/import regulations.
• Direct experience classifying parts and products for export/import.
• Proficiency with trade compliance platforms (OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP‑R).
• Travel up to 10% of time.
• Seven (7) or more years of international trade licensing and compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare EAR and ITAR license applications and manage post-approval activities.
• Evaluate export and import transactions for exemptions, exceptions, and licensing requirements.
• Develop and deliver trade compliance training to internal stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of trade metrics and KPIs.
• Determine jurisdiction and classification for parts and products and assist with policies.
