A day in this rolePicture your morning starting with a review of overnight broker transmissions and ACE activity. You sift through entry packets, validate filings, and quickly spot discrepancies across HTS classifications, part numbers, supplier data, and country of origin. A request pings from Sales and another from Purchasing - each asking for targeted data digs. You mine the details, trace root causes, and summarize findings that guide swift corrective actions. By mid-day, you coordinate with brokerage partners to correct entries, chase down missing documentation, and schedule short syncs with stakeholders to close out investigations. In the afternoon, you compile clear weekly updates for business partners and brokers, then wrap with post-entry checks to ensure corrective steps have been executed. And because trade never sleeps, you keep an eye on exceptions - ready to act and keep goods moving compliantly.
