Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is modernizing its global transportation network and seeking a hands-on TMS Solution Architect to lead the design and rollout of a global Transportation Management System across our multi-plant, multi-carrier, and multi‑mode logistics network.

You will bridge Global Logistics and IT, translating logistics processes into a scalable solution design, owning the architecture end to end, and guiding change management to ensure adoption. Location: Austin, TX.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience with SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Business process definition — partner with GL and IT to standardize transportation processes.
Solution design & architecture — own end-to-end TMS design including order-to-delivery flows and routing.
End-to-end delivery — lead blueprint/fit-gap, configuration oversight, integration design and cutover.
Systems integration — design and govern SAP S/4HANA, EDI connections, control-tower interfaces.
Carrier & multi-mode enablement — onboard and enable carriers across ocean, air, parcel, and ground.
Change management — lead stakeholder alignment, training, and communications.
Vendor & SI management — guide delivery teams and ensure architecture standards.
Standards & governance — establish data governance and scalable design patterns.
Roadmap contribution — support EDI stabilization, RFID, and AI-driven automation initiatives.
