Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support global time and attendance processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across a multinational environment. Responsibilities

• Support administration and accuracy of global time and attendance processes.

• Produce documentation for timekeeping processes, audits, compliance reviews, and payroll-impacting activities.
• Provide post-go-live support, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, resolution, and continuous improvement for WFS.
• Train end users on WFS usage, processes, and policies.
• Provide SME guidance on complex queries and issues to drive resolution.
• Streamline processes to drive standardization and efficiency.

Job Duties

• Under general supervision, serve as a member of Global Business Services, supporting the administration, accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of Halliburton’s global time and attendance processes.
• The incumbent is knowledgeable on global timekeeping practices, including labor law considerations, overtime rules, leave administration, and time-related payroll impacts across a multinational environment.
• Responsible for leading the Workforce Software (WFS) testing activities, including process analysis, test execution, issue resolution, and validation of time and attendance functionality.
• Responsible for complex projects and required to produce proper supporting documentation related to timekeeping processes, audits, compliance reviews, and payroll-impacting activities.
• Responsible for providing post-go-live support, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, resolution, and continuous improvement for WFS.
• Provides training and support to end users, ensuring proper utilization of the WFS time and attendance system, processes, and policies.
• Provides support and guidance as a Subject Matter Expert on complex queries and issues to provide resolution to the team and stakeholders.
• Actively looks to streamline process to drive standardization and efficiency of resources utilized.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience required.
• A Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• Experience in SAP or ADP/WFS integrations and enterprise payroll environments
• This is a senior level individual contributor role.
