Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Protective Intelligence & Threat Analyst to transform open-source intelligence into actionable tasks protecting people, assets, and brand. The role spans intelligence, investigations, and security operations and requires self-motivation and cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings extensive OSINT experience, investigative skills, and the ability to operate in a fluid environment across global teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, international relations, or similar fields with emphasis on analytical skills; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Deep experience with OSINT tools, social media monitoring platforms, and threat intelligence software.
• 3-4 years of proven analytical capability, to include strong investigative skills to parse vast amounts of unstructured data and distinguish credible threats from online noise.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with little guidance.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Threat Monitoring and Collection: monitor OSINT, social media, and dark web platforms for risks; evaluate findings and present analyzed intelligence to peers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Threat Assessment and Investigation: support security managers in investigative matters; evaluate persons of interest and investigate threats; assist in risk-based intelligence assessments on corporate sites and personnel.
• Operational Support and Briefings: deliver actionable intelligence products and briefings; recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies for travel and facilities; coordinate with SCCs during incidents.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: work with cross-functional teams such as InfoSec, IT, HR, and Legal to support wider goals.
• Reporting & Metrics: contribute to management reporting, insights into performance of security ecosystem.
