Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in the United States seeks a Protective Intelligence & Threat Analyst to turn open-source intelligence into actionable tasks that protect people, assets, and brand across Lam’s global footprint.

You will monitor OSINT and threat information, support investigations, provide briefings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk and mitigate travel and site-related threats. This is a hybrid role with on-site and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, international relations, or similar fields with analytical emphasis; or 6 years with a Master’s; or a PhD with 3 years experience.
• Deep experience with OSINT tools, social media monitoring platforms, and threat intelligence software.
• Strong analytical capability to parse unstructured data and distinguish credible threats from noise.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Outstanding communication skills across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Threat Monitoring and Collection: monitor OSINT, social media, and dark web for risks and present analyzed intelligence to peers and leadership.
• Threat Assessment and Investigation: support security managers in investigations and risk-based assessments.
• Operational Support and Briefings: deliver actionable intelligence products and briefings; advise on proactive risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: work with cross-functional teams (InfoSec, IT, HR, Legal) to support goals.
• Reporting & Metrics: contribute to management reporting on security performance and effectiveness.
