Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant within its International Product Engineering organization to shape technology solutions supporting business lines across Europe, Australia, and the Americas.

You will partner with stakeholders, product managers, architects, and subject matter experts to transform ambiguous business challenges into clear problem statements, solution options, and strategic recommendations, enabling scalable, reusable capabilities globally.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent. Graduate degree preferred.
• Eight or more years of experience in consulting, business analysis, program management, product management, technology strategy, or related disciplines.
• Experience facilitating discussions, driving consensus, and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into clear solution recommendations and actionable outcomes.
• Understanding of technology architecture concepts and software delivery practices, including AWS.
• Proven ability to build relationships and manage competing stakeholder priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities to understand and analyze complex business challenges.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify capability needs and drive alignment.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into clear problem statements and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Solutions Architects, and SMEs to assess options, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop business cases and recommendations to support strategic investment decisions.
• Present findings to leaders across business and technology organizations.
• Identify opportunities to deliver reusable solutions across regions and lines.
• Facilitate discussions among stakeholders with competing priorities and perspectives.
• Support initiatives involving global teams across multiple countries and time zones.
