Job summary

Buchanan is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead the global Technology sector within a leading Am Law firm. The role partners with sector leadership, senior lawyers, and M&BD teams worldwide, and is hybrid with base in SF, Silicon Valley, or NYC.

You will drive pitches, campaigns, client development, and profiles while mentoring a global team and coordinating across offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Marketing & BD experience in professional services.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with pitches, proposals and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global M&BD strategy for the Technology sector, strengthening market positioning and driving growth.
• Serve as the M&BD lead for the global Technology team, partnering closely with senior lawyers and sector leadership.
• Lead pitches, RFPs, proposals, targeting initiatives, and client development strategies.
• Drive high-profile marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events, sponsorships, conferences, and profile-raising initiatives.
• Support strategic client relationships through client feedback, financial analysis, and business development planning.
• Manage and mentor a global M&BD team while collaborating across practices, offices, and functions.
