Job summary

Indeed is seeking a Director of Procurement to drive strategic value across a global spend portfolio spanning Technology, HR, and Finance. You will oversee the IT Procurement team in close alignment with the CIO and CTO and manage a Senior Procurement Manager to ensure high-value outcomes.

You will balance hands-on contract review with empowering your team, leading long-range sourcing strategies and governance, and advising senior leaders on strategic sourcing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with substantial experience (15+ years) or advanced degrees with lower years.
• Global perspective in Technology, Consulting Services sourcing, contracting and negotiations.
• Experience working with Senior Executives across multiple business functions and with suppliers.
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills with strong influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute on a long-range procurement strategy across Technology, HR and Finance spend.
• Oversee IT Procurement and manage a Senior Procurement Manager to align with CIO/CTO.
• Lead category management initiatives and governance to maximize value for the enterprise.
• Drive negotiations on Master Agreements, Statements of Work and Change Orders balancing business needs and legal considerations.
• Partner with leadership to guide vendor and sourcing activities across the enterprise.
