Job summary

Molex is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead global, cross-functional New Product Development projects from inception to production. You will collaborate with customers, mentor teams, and drive risk management to ensure successful deliveries.

Qualified candidates bring 4+ years in project management within technical environments, experience with customer-facing roles, and willingness to travel internationally up to 25%. PMP certification within a year is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business, supply management or related field
• Experience leading projects with Product Development
• At least 4 years of Project Management experience
• Experience with customer-facing roles or external executive-facing experience
• Experience leading multi-national teams
• Experience in matrix environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%-25% of time
• Ability to work mornings and evenings to accommodate global meetings
• Ability to obtain PMP certification within 1 year
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Partner to Product Manager: Ensure Molex key technology projects support customer deliverables
• Project Team Leader: Lead multiple New Product Development projects
• Develop internal & external Project Charters with strategy, scope, financials, schedule
• Own Project Reporting communication to Management and Customers
• Perform the Project Management function: Change Control and Decision Documentation
• Lead Project Plan development, management, and closure
• Own and develop Macro Project Schedules and functional accountability
• Lead and mentor team members in project management principles and PDP processes
