Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Project Manager for Valley Green, PA. You will oversee customer communications, planning, budgets, and execution to meet market expectations and timing targets.

You will lead project teams across multiple sites, coordinate schedules, manage internal/external suppliers, and ensure product specifications align with customer needs and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from a four-year university with 4+ years related experience and/or training within the connector industry, preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawings.
• Ability to manage customer communication and expectations.
• Ability to effectively present information to management and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project, the project team, contribute to scope and objectives, and ensure steps are completed.
• Provide communication interface to customer for status, schedule and requirements.
• Lead project teams across multiple sites during product development projects.
• Schedule and manage internal meetings to address action items and keep on schedule.
• Manage suppliers to ensure on-time completion of actions.
• Define product specifications and project scope aligned with market needs.
• Ensure financial objectives including capital requests, product costing, and scope control.
• Make decisions to speed time to market, volume and profitability.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability principles during development.
• Ensure capacity planning to meet expected demand.
• Provide regular project updates to management and set up ordering/manufacturing systems.
