Job summary

Banyan Global in Washington, DC seeks a Team Lead (Level II or III) to guide a multi-country policy and regulatory environment directive under MCC. The role requires coordinating a dispersed team of analysts and consultants, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables in English and other languages, and interfacing closely with MCC for contract compliance.

The position supports work in Fiji, Ecuador, and Bolivia with potential country additions.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in economic and social analysis, design, and/or implementation (Level II).
• 15+ years of experience in social analysis and/or applying social analysis to programs (Level III).
• At least 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring deliverable quality.
• Experience in low-income and lower-middle-income countries.
• Deliverables in English; proficiency in French/Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical directive, coordinate inputs, and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple countries.
• Provide strategic leadership and technical advice across workstreams.
• Interface with MCC, ensure contractual compliance and timely outputs.
• Manage budgets, oversee workplans, monitor performance.
• Direct a dispersed team of consultants across governance, social performance, and economic streams.
• Ensure integration across governance, social performance, and economic workstreams.
• Oversee field missions and documentation with MCC stakeholders.
