Job summary

Thomson Reuters in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Tax & Treasury to lead Omni's global tax and treasury initiatives from Day 1, directing external advisors and building the function across the US, UK, Canada, LATAM, and other jurisdictions.

This greenfield role partners with the Controller and CFO to ensure compliant, scalable operations, reporting, and risk management in a fast-moving, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CTP/JD or equivalent credential.
• 10+ years of progressive tax/treasury experience; at least 5 years in a leadership role across multiple disciplines.
• Experience directing external tax advisors as the informed internal owner.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and IFRS IAS 12, transfer pricing, indirect tax compliance, and treasury CFM.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, build structure quickly, and drive outcomes in a greenfield environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead global tax function spanning direct/indirect tax, transfer pricing, tax accounting and provision, and controversy.
• Oversee tax compliance and registrations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Design and govern a net-new transfer pricing framework and indirect tax configurations.
• Oversee income tax provision framework under IFRS; review opening balance sheet tax entries.
• Lead treasury management: banking, liquidity, FX risk, and controls; manage insurance programs.
