Job summary

ZS is seeking a Global Tax Director to lead the firm's tax function from Chicago with exposure to the Pune team. The role requires managing global tax compliance, transfer pricing, and audits, while guiding pre- and post-acquisition tax work.

Applicants should have 15+ years in corporate tax, CPA preferred, and strong stakeholder management skills. The position involves travel and collaboration with external advisors across regions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of corporate tax experience
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Excellent structured thinking and communication skills
• Proven ability to drive stakeholder alignment and adoption
• Experience in professional services environment highly preferred
• Collaborative problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Oversee ZS’s global tax compliance requirements and lead the global tax operating model initiatives
• Collaborate with external tax advisors on nexus, transfer pricing, sales tax and audits
• Support pre- and post-acquisition tax diligence and integration
• Oversee global tax compliance policies and process adherence
• Evaluate and redesign tax processes in collaboration with Finance
• Provide coaching and development support to junior team members
• Lead special projects as needed
