Job summary

Gamma is seeking a seasoned tax executive to build and lead the global tax function. You will own the indirect tax footprint, manage the income tax provision, and work with external advisors while remaining hands-on with technical work.

With a focus on automation and AI, you will design scalable tax processes, advise on international expansion, and drive tax strategy across the organization. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive tax and accounting experience in public and in-house roles.
• Deep ASC 740 tax provision knowledge and multi-state tax expertise.
• Strong understanding of global indirect tax for SaaS/digital products.
• Experience in automating manual tax work with AI tools.
• Transfer pricing or international structuring experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with tax technology platforms such as Anrok, Avalara, or Vertex.

Responsibilities

• Lead Gamma's tax function end-to-end in collaboration with the Director of Accounting.
• Own global indirect tax across US and international VAT/GST and digital services tax.
• Manage the quarterly/annual income tax provision under ASC 740 and review returns.
• Handle local tax obligations and maintain controls and audit support.
• Advise on international expansion, transfer pricing, and equity compensation implications.
• Build scalable tax processes and implement tax technology with AI and automation.
