Job summary

Brewer Morris seeks a strategic Director of Tax to lead the global tax function, reporting to the CFO. You will oversee compliance, planning, and risk management across U.S. and international operations, including partnership tax, transfer pricing, and tax governance.

You will partner with executive leadership on M&A, global expansion, and tax optimization initiatives. This role requires at least 12+ years of tax leadership experience, CPA preferred, and a strong track record in cross-border tax

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and corporate/in-house tax leadership.
• Experience with partnership taxation and multistate tax matters.
• International tax experience, including transfer pricing and cross-border planning.
• Leadership experience managing and developing tax teams.
• CPA strongly preferred; JD or LL.M. in Taxation may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax compliance activities.
• Lead partnership tax reporting, estimated tax payments, and pass-through entity tax elections.
• Develop and execute international tax strategies, including transfer pricing and cross-border structuring.
• Advise executive leadership on tax implications of strategic transactions and expansions.
• Build and lead a high‑performing tax team and govern tax processes across the organization.
• Monitor regulatory developments and manage tax risk and governance.
