Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• At least three years of domestic and/or international tax experience.
• Proficient with accounting systems and software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Communicate with senior-level personnel.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile information for US and international tax filings.
• Coordinate with local tax advisors and review drafts.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance.
• Support audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Maintain tax ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Conduct tax research including VAT/GST assessments.
• File local personal property tax and commercial rent tax reports.
• Manage tax calendar and deadlines.
