Job summary

Populus Group, a Minority and Veteran Owned Workforce Solutions company, seeks a focused professional to facilitate attracting top talent and educate customers on foreign national employment processes. You will partner with TEKsystems, Aerotek, and Populus Group clients to solidify employment-based visas, mainly H1, while coordinating with immigration counsel and internal teams.

The role emphasizes relationship building, clear communication, and candor with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Approximately 2 years of work experience in HR, Sales or Recruiting.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and sensitivity to timing.
• Support and maintain effective client-vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as a middle man between customers and Populus Group’s immigration counsel on acquiring work authorization visas.
• Work with HR and Recruiting in hiring process involving sponsorship.
• Review and assess all incoming requests.
• Answer calls from customers and consultants on immigration matters.
• Ensure all participants meet customer and governmental requirements.
• Improve information flow to ensure status accuracy.
• Assist in obtaining documents for work permit/visa applications.
• Consult with outside immigration counsel for clarification on immigration issues.
• Negotiate with customer and recruiters to establish rates, contract terms, and fees.
