Job summary

Florida Polytechnic University seeks a Global Talent & International Services Specialist to administer international employment and student immigration programs while supporting payroll and HR operations.

As the university’s DSO, you will ensure SEVIS compliance and collaborate with HR, payroll, and legal teams to provide service to faculty, staff, and students. The role includes training and handling immigration documentation with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of DSO experience in higher education.
• Experience interpreting federal immigration regulations and SEVIS.
• Experience with confidential records and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the University’s Designated School Official (DSO) and maintain SEVIS compliance.
• Assist international students, faculty, staff with immigration requirements and visa processes.
• Process SEVIS records and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate immigration matters (H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, J-1) with legal counsel.
• Maintain confidential records and monitor changes in immigration laws.
