The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Director, Global Flavor Creation to lead the development of sweet flavor systems across beverage platforms, driving innovation, continuity and productivity across the global portfolio.

You will mentor flavorists, oversee high-priority flavor initiatives, collaborate with R&D, sensory, regulatory, quality, procurement and external partners, and apply data‑driven decision making to deliver winning flavors while safeguarding regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master in relevant field; advanced credentials preferred.
• Certified Member of the Society of Flavor Chemists preferred; Apprentice Certification or equivalent training desirable.
• 7+ years in flavor development; 10+ years for non-degree candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and optimization of sweet flavor systems across beverage platforms using advanced flavor chemistry and sensory principles.
• Oversee a portfolio of high-priority flavor initiatives to enable brand innovation and productivity globally.
• Partner with R&D, product development, sensory, regulatory, quality, procurement, marketing and external partners to ensure timely delivery of flavor solutions.
• Provide expert recommendations, risk assessments, and progress updates to leadership aligned with business objectives.
• Mentor flavorists and develop training resources, best practices, and technical standards.
• Drive evaluation and implementation of new flavor ingredients, technologies, and tools for taste performance and regulatory compliance.
• Apply data-driven decision-making to optimize ingredient selection and address process challenges for global commercialization.
• Ensure compliance with global and regional regulations and protect proprietary flavor information.
