Job summary

You will focus on identifying bottlenecks in IIS, SQL Server and Oracle environments, perform root‑cause analysis, and communicate clear recommendations. English fluency and cross‑border collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting application server performance issues (IIS).
• Proficient in SQL Server and Oracle query optimization.
• Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, DNS, SMTP, SSH.
• Engineering degree or higher; 4 years of work experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Fluent English written and spoken.

Job Description

We’re growing our global support team and looking for Level 2 engineers who enjoy digging into complex platform issues. You’ll troubleshoot performance problems, work with customers to find practical fixes, and partner with internal teams to improve our product. If you like working through issues and want to make a real difference for customers, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot platform-related issues, with a focus on identifying and resolving system bottlenecks
• Provide solutions and alternative approaches, negotiating with customers about the best ways to overcome issues.
• Use logging and troubleshooting tools to identify performance bottlenecks and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Bridge with internal teams to be a part of our product’s continuous improvement process.
• Interact with many different people from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures, both internally and with customers.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge in troubleshooting Application Servers (IIS) performance issues and able to clearly communicate recommendations for improvement.
• Intermediate knowledge of Databases and query optimization (SQL Server and Oracle).
• Foundational knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, SMTP, SSH.
• Degree in Engineering or other technology‑related degrees (BSc, MSc).
• 4 years work experience in lieu of degree.
• Tech savviness and drive to solve complex problems with the ability to deconstruct problems into smaller pieces, with little or no preset resolution pattern.
• Fluency in English (bilingual is a plus).
• Must be willing to work 8am-5pm PST shift.
