What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage field service escalation programs for installed Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) systems
- Provide Level III engineering field support, including troubleshooting and system repair at various sites
- Validate warranty claim submissions and perform root cause analysis for field service issues
- Develop and deliver technical training and implement Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) upgrades strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service impact on new product introductions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of service experience, with at least 1 year in medical device experience, particularly with robotics technologies
- Strong analytical and communication skills to convey complex technical issues clearly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with FDA product requirements and regulatory guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in technical support and services within a healthcare or surgical setting
- Knowledge of robotics or motion control systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM software packages
- Ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings
