The candidate will lead supplier qualification, negotiate with vendors, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to transition designs into mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-like engineering or technical background required.
• Experience in supplier evaluation focusing on quality, reliability, cost, and capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-team collaboration.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple projects and document progress.
• Proven leadership and project management exposure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with current and potential suppliers to maintain material supply.
• Support supply chain risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Develop strategies to optimize suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience.
• Conduct market analysis to provide sourcing insights.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications.
• Participate in supplier sourcing, qualification, and negotiation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and manufacturers to ensure timely development and transition to mass production.
