Job summary

Waabi seeks a Global Supply Manager to lead indirect procurement and strategic sourcing for IT hardware, SaaS, operations and facilities. You will negotiate PSAs, SOWs, and SLAs, build supplier relationships, and optimize CLM data across a growing AI-first organization.

You will drive cost savings, manage budgets, and advance P2P improvements while partnering with Legal, Finance and internal stakeholders. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business (Supply Chain/Finance/Management) or Engineering.
• 4+ years of supply chain experience.
• Strong supplier relationship management background.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay processes.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

• Interested in self-driving technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build a supply base supporting AI-first self-driving at scale.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for indirect categories.
• Manage internal stakeholder requirements and align procurement with goals.
• Lead RFx processes (RFP/RFQ/RFI) with market research and supplier selection.
• Negotiate PSAs, SOWs, and SLAs with Legal and Finance.
• Maintain CLM data integrity and vendor governance.
• Manage SRM lifecycle and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Drive year-over-year cost savings through bidding and demand management.
• Refine P2P processes to reduce spend friction.
• Develop and monitor budgets across indirect categories.
• Identify process improvements and drive to closure.
• Track open supply chain issues to resolution.

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Team, the Global Supply Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including Negotiating various types of commercial contracts, Purchase Order Releases, Budgeting/Forecasting, and Request for Quotations across Indirect Categories.

You will...

• Be a part of the Global Supply Chain Team building a supply base supporting an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale.
• Supply Category Strategy: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as IT HW, SaaS, Operations, Professional Services, and Facilities.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal customers to understand their requirements and align procurement strategies with business goals.
• Strategic Sourcing: Lead the full RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) process. This includes market research, supplier identification, bid analysis, and final supplier selection.
• Contract Negotiation: Partner with Legal and Finance to negotiate complex Professional Service Agreements (PSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain and optimize contract lifecycle management (CLM) data integrity, tracking, and compliance to ensure seamless indirect supply chain operations and vendor governance
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage the lifecycle of key indirect suppliers. Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to monitor performance, innovation, and risk.
• Cost Management: Drive year-over-year "bottom-line" savings through competitive bidding, demand management, and process improvements.
• Process Optimization: Implement and refine P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes to reduce friction in how the company spends money on non-production items.
• Develop and maintain budgets across multiple Indirect Categories.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements & documentation.
• Track open Supply Chain issues, solutions and drive each to closure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Business (Supply Chain/Finance/Management) or Engineering.
• 4+ years of Supply Chain Experience.
• Background in supplier relationship management.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly Google Suite).
• Expertise in Source-to-Pay processes.
• Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
• Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
• Able to travel up 25% of the time to Waabi locations.

Bonus/nice to have:

• Experience in the Autonomous or Electric Vehicle Industry.
• MBA or JD.

The US yearly salary range for this role is: $110,000 - $165,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi US Inc.’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
