Job summary

Neros, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager to own sourcing strategy and supplier execution for key product families from early development through production.

You will partner with Engineering, Product Development, Supplier Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations to ensure the right suppliers, favorable terms, and risk posture to support rapid drone development and scale production.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or global supply management
• Experience supporting NPI programs, prototype builds, or fast-changing product development
• Proven ability to select suppliers, run RFx/RFQ processes, and negotiate terms
• Experience with supplier risk reduction and cost-down execution
• Ability to partner with Engineering, Product Development, SQE, Planning, Purchasing, Finance and Operations
• Strong commercial judgment and data-driven decision making
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to elevate risks clearly
• Willingness to work onsite in Torrance, CA in a defense manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy for assigned product families from concept through prototype builds, LRIP, and high-rate production
• Drive supplier selection for new products and long-term needs, including RFXs and award decisions
• Partner with Engineering to support part-specific sourcing and prototype build purchasing
• Track material required dates, lead times, and sourcing risks to keep schedules
• Own cost-down initiatives with Engineering, including cost modeling and contract improvements
• Manage supplier relationships, run supplier QBRs, and resolve commercial/supply issues
• Negotiate MSAs, LTAs, favorable payment terms, and other commercial agreements
• Maintain item master data including lead times, prices, and supplier classifications
• Operate with urgency in a fast-paced hardware environment
