Job summary

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in food manufacturing quality, food safety, supplier quality, regulatory compliance, or related field.
• At least three years of supplier quality experience with suppliers, contract manufacturers, or co-manufacturers.
• Experience conducting supplier audits, managing corrective actions, and evaluating food safety and quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of FSMA Preventive Controls, HACCP, GMPs, allergen management, FDA food regulations, and GFSI-recognized certifications.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. PCQI, HACCP, Lead Auditor or similar certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global supplier quality audit program for suppliers, contract manufacturers, co-manufacturers, and other external partners.
• Develop and maintain a risk-based audit strategy including supplier risk ranking, scheduling, reporting, corrective actions, and escalation.
• Conduct and oversee supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, customer, and certification requirements.
• Review audit findings, approve corrective action plans, monitor supplier performance, and drive timely resolution of nonconformances and risks.
• Partner with procurement, operations, regulatory affairs, R&D, logistics, customer quality, and site quality teams to support supplier qualification and risk mitigation.
