Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for locations in Baltimore, MD or Redondo Beach, CA. You will join the Supply Chain organization and gain hands-on experience tracking supplier performance, forecasting, data analysis, and sourcing strategies while collaborating with internal partners.

The role requires full-time summer availability, enrollment in an accredited program, and exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for Fall 2027.
• Majors in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance or Operations Management or related field.
• Available to work full-time (40 h/week) for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor supplier delivery and quality performance.
• Support functions with comprehensive business forecasting.
• Engage with Business Operations Manager to pull and analyze data for GSC Division.
• Coordinate with internal partners to develop sourcing strategies.
• Understand and compare bids and place Purchase Orders.
• Evaluate supplier proposals to issue compliant POs.
• Extract and validate data from multiple sources.
• Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
