Allison Transmission, the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial-duty automatic transmissions, seeks a Global Supply Chain Intern for Summer 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports logistics, demand planning, and inventory management while you analyze data and improve operations across manufacturing and procurement.

You will build reports, perform cost analyses, optimize workflows, and assist with supplier performance tracking, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-moving supply chain

Formación

• Education: College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing studies related to Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: Strong oral and written communication skills; analytical ability to solve complex problems; good interpersonal skills.
• ITAR note: United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsabilidades

• Support logistics, demand planning, and inventory management by analyzing data and improving efficiency.
• Create reports, validate and clean supply chain data, and develop dashboards for KPIs.
• Assist with supplier performance tracking and coordination with manufacturing, logistics and procurement teams.
• Research process improvements to reduce costs and optimize inventory.
