Job summary

nVent's Supply Chain Management Internship offers hands-on exposure across Materials & Sourcing and Operations & Logistics within a global manufacturing setting. This 12-week, full-time summer program in Solon, OH provides opportunities to work on inventory analytics, ERP/MRP improvements, and KPI tracking.

Interns are paid $22 per hour and can gain mentorship, leadership development, and networking through our ERGs and structured training while supporting cross-functional teams and global

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or operations management.
• Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available for a 12-week full-time summer internship from June–August 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and to work collaboratively with all levels within the organization.
• Energy to listen, learn, and adapt through change.
• Strong work ethic and personal responsibility.
• Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, SQL, Python, PowerBI).

Responsibilities

• Participate in inventory analytics and KPI tracking to support optimization goals.
• Assist ERP improvement projects that strengthen MRP across systems.
• Drive delivery performance improvements through analytics and tool enhancements.
• Support monthly SIOP reporting cadence and integration activities.
• Collaborate on PFEP/Kanban implementation and data reporting.
• Engage in cross-functional projects to identify growth opportunities.
