Job summary

Essense of Australia is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead planning, purchasing and logistics from Perth, overseeing end-to-end product flow to stores worldwide. You will manage three managers, balance supply and demand, optimise inventory and cash flow, and align with finance and operations to drive performance.

The role requires 8+ years in senior supply chain roles, APICS or equivalent, and a data-driven approach to strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ senior leadership experience across supply chain planning, purchasing and logistics.
• Experience managing end-to-end supply chain from factory PO to customer delivery.
• Offshore warehouse or distribution operation experience is highly regarded.
• APICS qualification (CSCP, CPIM, CDDP) or equivalent highly desirable.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodology experience.
• Data-driven decision making with BI tools; ERP knowledge highly regarded.
• Forward-thinking with AI tools to improve efficiency and outputs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence executive leadership across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planning, Purchasing and Logistics Managers and their teams.
• Set the overall Supply Chain strategy and operating model.
• Own demand and supply planning outcomes and inventory policy.
• Oversee PO management, factory shipments and returns with Purchasing.
• Manage international freight, customs compliance and warehouse replenishment.
• Deliver financial insights via invoicing and margin reporting to executives.
• Drive AI integrations to automate workflows and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Factory Operations to balance capacity and demand.
• Provide visibility of performance through dashboards and BI reporting.
• Travel internationally as required to support offshore relationships.
