Job summary

Emporia Energy is seeking a strategic Supply Chain and Cost Management leader to optimize manufacturing partnerships and drive aggressive cost-down initiatives across our global supply chain. The role serves as the primary commercial and operational link between Emporia and our Contract Manufacturing partners to ensure cost competitiveness and supply resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, engineering, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of electronics and mechanical supply chain management.
• Proven cost-down execution, strategic sourcing, and vendor management in consumer electronics.
• Experience with overseas ODM/CM manufacturers; India experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
• AI-native working style for drafting requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Cost Down roadmap for core products across materials, labor and process yield.
• Run quarterly cost reviews with contract manufacturers to monitor indices and cost creep.
• Manage dual-sourcing to influence volume allocation and pricing leverage.
• Initiate value engineering with engineering teams to unlock cost reductions.
• Establish incentive structures for shared cost savings with partners.
• Consolidate CM quotes into dashboards to strengthen negotiating positions.
• Oversee supplier base ownership and 12-month rolling forecasts to optimize inventory.
• Lead the design and development of a custom, in-house ERP platform with AI-assisted drafting.
