Job summary

Tenneco Inc. is seeking a Global ISC Continuous Improvement Manager to drive supply chain improvements across 200+ plants in 28 countries. You will lead Kaizens, capability workshops, and projects reducing inventory, lead times, freight costs, and improving customer service.

You will work with senior supply chain leaders, coaching teams, and deploying the P3 operating system globally, requiring strongLean expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, ERP, or a specialized supply chain function.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment in roles like plant supply chain, materials, production planning, industrial engineering, or similar.
• End-to-end supply chain knowledge: demand/supply planning, S&OP/S&OE, MRP/ERP, inventory, warehousing, logistics.
• Track record of leading improvement projects with measurable results (inventory, freight, service).
• Lean and structured problem-solving: root cause analysis, VSM, PFEP, pull systems, 5S.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data, Excel, and KPIs.
• Clear, direct communication and ability to train, facilitate, influence more senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Turn Global Supply Chain strategy into plant-level execution of the P3 standard, coordinating with Plant Managers and regional teams.
• Identify, prioritize, and lead high-impact projects in inventory reduction, lead-time, freight cost, service, and working capital.
• Run multiple projects across sites; own scope, timeline, KPIs, and results.
• Coach plant teams to P3 Certification and participate in assessments and calibrations.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate plant supply chain talent and build capability.
