Job summary

INNIO Group in Wisconsin seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure high product quality and regulatory compliance across our engineered systems. You will lead supplier audits, manage the supply base, and collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Planning to strengthen quality.

You will drive continuous improvement with suppliers, lead new part qualifications, and perform root-cause analyses to reduce defects and cost of quality, travel up to 40% primarily in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supplier quality experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills within cross-functional teams.
• Independent, proactive, fast response, flexible work style.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply base focused on engineered systems.
• Act as primary interface between suppliers and INNIO internal functions on technical issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards.
• Lead qualification projects for new parts and new suppliers with focus on defect prevention.
• Lead efforts to reduce product defects and cost of quality; perform root cause analyses.
• Lead supplier development activities: drive continuous improvement with suppliers and provide quality input for supplier scorecards
