Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to ensure supplier quality and delivery excellence across Energy projects in a global setting.

You will lead qualification activities, address nonconformances, and drive CAPA and risk mitigation with cross-functional teams in a large-scale manufacturing environment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a CWI certification, with 5+ years in Manufacturing or Supplier Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• CWI certification required; oil & gas experience preferred.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Supplier Quality Engineering with focus on large steel fabrications.
• Welding, NDT, GD&T knowledge and ASME/AWS codes.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface for suppliers with Eng, Procurement, and Quality teams.
• Lead supplier qualification activities, including capability assessments, audits, and process evaluation.
• Manage PPQ activities for large fabrications ensuring standards compliance.
• Review and approve supplier manufacturing and inspection processes and QCs.
• Investigate nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive supplier development and continuous improvement with performance monitoring.
