Emerson Electric Co in Houston is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to collaborate with global manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams to drive supplier quality excellence, improve supplier performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will partner with Category Management, Global Engineering, Supplier Performance, and Site Quality teams to support supplier selection, establish quality requirements, review FAI, analyze scorecards, and drive sustainable improvements

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Equivalent experience supporting supplier quality, manufacturing, or supplier development activities.
• Ability to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Experience with PCBAs and motors manufacturing and test processes.

Mansioni

• Provide supplier quality leadership and project management to drive supplier performance.
• Lead technical reviews with suppliers and ensure quality requirements are met during RFQ and production.
• Support Supplier Qualification by evaluating and approving new suppliers.
• Verify effectiveness of supplier CARs and monitor scorecards for critical suppliers.
• Conduct supplier process audits and drive standardization using Q tools (Cpk/Ppk, GR&R, FMEA).
• Review and approve FAI documentation with Engineering and communicate feedback to suppliers.
• Drive manufacturing and quality improvements across existing and new suppliers.
• Support supplier development projects to achieve quality, delivery, and lead-time objectives.
