Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to assure raw materials, components, and outsourced processes meet high standards. You will partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to audit suppliers, drive corrective actions, and sustain supply chain reliability.

The role emphasizes QMS compliance, PPAP readiness, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to minimize disruptions and defects across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
• 3–5+ years in quality engineering focusing on supplier quality in custom manufacturing.
• Proven use of structured problem‑solving methods (8D, 5‑Why, DMAIC, Fishbone).
• Experience with internal or supplier quality audits (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct supplier audits (domestic and international).
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, QMS, process controls, and defect trends.
• Lead SCARs, root‑cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions.
• Support NPD with supplier readiness and incoming inspection criteria.
