Job description

The Global Study Operations group within Labcorp’s Central Labs Services Global Project Management team is seeking a Supervisor to lead the SMART Database Loading team.

In this position, you will lead a high-performing technical team, maintaining rigorous standards in database design, promoting timely and accurate processing of patient samples through internal systems to their final destination. Candidates with a technical mindset and experience using internal tools such as Realm SMART functions, Study Definition, and Zavacor are strongly preferred.

This is a remote opportunity and can be located anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the assigned customer or functional team members, ensuring appropriate resource allocation to successfully implement and execute project plans, managing workload balance within assigned teams, ensuring consistent implementation and review of SOPs, coordinating and monitoring progress, implementing performance metrics, and participating in departmental strategy execution.
  • Grow and develop your team, including ensuring the development of a competent workforce, establishing performance objectives, completing thorough performance evaluations, and taking corrective action where appropriate.
  • Instill and manage a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity, monitoring and tracking customer complaints, ensuring issues are documented, and leveraging expertise to prevent repeated occurrences.
  • Ensure the team and department deliver on customer commitments, applying best practices in budget and risk management, updating systems, leading client relationship activities, and proactively consulting with customers.
  • Effectively collaborate with others and work across boundaries, assisting leadership, working with Business Development Directors, and optimizing client delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience
  • Knowledge or experience in technical design and/or internal applications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving ability
  • Proven record of driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrated experience in team building, influencing, and conflict resolution
  • Strong change management skills

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: University Degree

Pay Range: 90-130K per annum
